Description
1. Material: pure copper (T1, T2, copper content ≥ 99.9%, excellent thermal conductivity, for wires and cables, precision electronics); brass (H62, H65, copper-zinc alloy, high strength, easy to process, used for hardware, wire mesh); bronze (QSn6.5-0.1 tin bronze, wear-resistant corrosion-resistant, used for springs, wire brushes; QAl5 aluminium bronze, high-strength, used for mechanical fine wire); White copper (B19, B30, copper-nickel alloy, weather-resistant, used for instrumentation, corrosion-resistant wire).
2. Standard: GB/T 3952 (copper wire for electrician), GB/T 21652 (brass wire, bronze wire, white copper wire); International Standard ISO 6892-2, American Standard ASTM B3, Japanese Standard JIS H3303.
3. Size: Diameter 0.02-10mm (ultra-fine wire 0.02-0.1mm, fine wire line 0.1-1mm, regular wire 1-5mm, thick wire 5-10mm); length mostly in discs (dozens to hundreds of metres), which can be truncated as required; some special copper wires are straight (length 1-3m).
4. Processing technology: copper ingot melting → casting into copper rods (Φ8-12mm) → rough drawing (multi-channel drawing to reduce the size of the initial shape) → medium drawing / fine drawing (fine control of the diameter, enhance the surface finish) → annealing (elimination of processing stress, adjusting the softness) → surface treatment (pickling to remove oxidation, tin / silver corrosion prevention / enhance electrical conductivity) → winding (coiled into rolls) → inspection (diameter accuracy, tensile strength, electrical conductivity test).
