Description
1. Conventional materials: low carbon steel (≤0.25%, such as Q235, 10 #, good plasticity, easy to process), medium carbon steel (0.25%-0.60%, such as 45 #, medium strength), high carbon steel (>0.60%, such as 65 #, high hardness), containing a small amount of silicon, manganese impurities.
2. Standard: GB/T 702 (hot rolled steel bar), GB/T 905 (cold drawn steel bar), GB/T 699 (high quality carbon structural steel); international standard ISO 683-1, Japanese standard JIS G4051 and so on.
3. Size: Diameter 5mm-500mm (round bar mainly), square bar side length 5mm-200mm, length usually 2-6m (can be customised).
4. Processing technology: rolling (hot rolling: heating forming, low precision; cold rolling/cold drawing: room temperature processing, high precision), heat treatment (annealing, quenching and tempering), surface treatment (pickling, phosphating, polishing).
