Description
1. Material: base material is low carbon steel (carbon content ≤ 0.25%), such as Q235, SPCC (cold rolled substrate), SGCC (hot dip galvanised special substrate); coating is pure zinc or zinc alloy (zinc-iron alloy, zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy), the base material ensures processability, and the coating provides corrosion resistance.
2. Zinc layer thickness: hot-dip galvanising (conventional 40-275g/m2, corresponding to a zinc layer thickness of 5.6-39μm, high anti-corrosion scenarios up to 600g/m2); electro-galvanising (conventional 5-50g/m2, corresponding to a zinc layer thickness of 0.7-7μm, commonly used in precision parts 10-20g/m2).
3. Standard: National standard GB/T 2518 (continuous hot-dip galvanised sheet), GB/T 15675 (continuous electric galvanised sheet); International ISO 1461, Japanese standard JIS G3302, American standard ASTM A653.
4. Dimensions: Thickness 0.12-2.5mm (hot-dip galvanised), 0.05-1.2mm (electro-galvanised); width 600-1800mm; in the form of flat sheets (length 2000-6000mm) or steel coils (coil weight 3-15 tonnes), support for cut-to-length.
5. Processing technology: Base material pretreatment (pickling and descaling, cold rolling/hot rolling) → plating processing (hot-dip galvanising: high-temperature dip galvanising; electro-galvanising: electrolytic deposition) → post-processing (passivation, oiling, fingerprint-resistant coating) → finishing (cutting and levelling).
