Description
1. Material: austenitic stainless steel (304, 316L, corrosion resistance, easy to process), followed by ferritic stainless steel (430, low cost, magnetic), a small number of martensitic stainless steel (410, quench hardening) and duplex stainless steel (2205, high strength corrosion resistance), the substrate are low carbon stainless steel, to ensure the toughness and formability.
2. Surface: Mainstream 2B surface (cold rolled matte, flat and smooth, easy to follow up processing), BA surface (cold rolled glossy, mirror pretreatment); industrial grade commonly used No. 1 surface (hot rolled pickled surface, rough with oxide skin); special needs HL brushed surface (texture uniformity), 8K mirror (highly reflective), sandblasted surface (non-slip matte).
3. Standard: GB/T 3280 (cold rolled stainless steel coil), GB/T 4237 (hot rolled stainless steel coil); international standard ISO 3575, Japanese standard JIS G4305, American standard ASTM A240/A480.
4. Dimensions: Thickness 0.12-6mm (cold rolled coil ≤ 3mm, hot rolled coil > 3mm); width 600-1800mm (commonly used 1219mm, 1500mm); inner diameter of 508mm or 610mm, the weight of a single volume of 3-20 tonnes, to support the fixed-size slitting.
5. Process: stainless steel billet smelting → hot rolling (high-temperature rolling for thick coils, to remove the oxide skin) → cold rolling (rolling several times to reduce the thinning to the target thickness, to control the accuracy) → heat treatment (solution annealing, to eliminate internal stresses) → surface treatment (pickling, polishing, brushing, etc.) → finishing (flattening, coiling, trimming) → inspection and packaging.
6. Applicable industries: home appliance industry (washing machine inner liner, refrigerator side plate, 304/430 rolls), food and medical (equipment plate, instrument substrate, 304/316L rolls), building decoration (curtain wall, ceiling, 2B/HL surface rolls), automotive industry (exhaust system, decorative parts, 430/304 rolls), chemical industry (tanks, pipeline substrate, 316L/duplex steel rolls).
