Description
1. Material: Mainstream austenitic stainless steel (304, 316L, corrosion resistance, easy processing, widely used); ferritic stainless steel (430, low cost, good temperature resistance, suitable for the basic scene); martensitic stainless steel (410, 420, quench hardening, high-strength, used for the need for wear-resistant parts); a small number of dual-phase stainless steel (2205, corrosion resistance, high toughness, harsh working conditions).
2. Surface: common black surface (hot rolled state, rough surface, industrial structure), pickled surface (removal of oxide, grey-white surface, to facilitate subsequent processing), polished surface (mirror / matte, high degree of finish, decorative or precision parts); special needs of the brushed surface (texture uniformity, anti-scratch), sandblasted surface (matte non-slip).
3. Standard: GB/T 1220 (basic standard of stainless steel bar), GB/T 4226 (hot rolled stainless steel bar); international standard ISO 683-15, Japanese standard JIS G4303, American standard ASTM A276/A484.
4. Size: Diameter 5-500mm (fine bar <20mm, medium bar 20-100mm, thick bar >100mm); length mostly 6m fixed, customised 3-12m, some large diameter bars are supplied according to the weight of a single unit (10-500kg).
5. Process: stainless steel billet smelting → hot rolling (high-temperature rolling to near-finished diameter, shaping) → cold drawing (fine bars / precision bars need to be drawn several times to improve the dimensional accuracy) → heat treatment (solution annealing, to eliminate internal stresses, optimise the performance) → surface treatment (pickling, polishing, drawing) → finishing (straightening, cut to length) → detection (ultrasonic detection, to eliminate internal defects) → packaging.
6. Applicable industries: machinery manufacturing (shafts, gears, fasteners, 304/410 rods), mould industry (mould mandrels, 420/316L rods), architectural decoration (balustrade columns, connectors, 304 polished rods), medical equipment (instrument parts, 316L rods), chemical industry (valve spools, stirring shafts, 316L/duplex steel rods).
