Description

1. Material: base material is low carbon steel (carbon content ≤ 0.25%), common grades Q235, SPCC (cold rolled substrate, high surface accuracy), SGCC (hot-dip galvanised special substrate, good formability); coating is pure zinc or zinc alloy (zinc-iron, zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloys, to enhance corrosion resistance), the base material guarantees the processability, and the plating layer provides the ability to prevent rust.

2. Zinc layer thickness: hot-dip galvanised coil conventional 40-275g/m2 (corresponding to zinc layer thickness of 5.6-39μm), high anti-corrosion scenarios up to 600g/m2; electro-galvanised coil conventional 5-50g/m2 (corresponding to zinc layer thickness of 0.7-7μm), commonly used in the precision field 10-20g/m2.

3. Standard: GB/T 2518 (continuous hot-dip galvanised steel coil), GB/T 15675 (continuous electro-galvanised steel coil); international standard ISO 1461, Japanese standard JIS G3302, American standard ASTM A653.

4. Dimensions: Thickness 0.12-2.5mm (hot-dip galvanised steel coil), 0.05-1.2mm (electro-galvanised steel coil); Width 600-1800mm; Coil weight 3-15 tonnes, common inner diameter 508mm or 610mm, support for customized width.

5. Processing technology: Base material pretreatment (hot rolling/cold rolling → pickling and descaling → cleaning) → plating processing (hot galvanising: high temperature zinc dipping; electro-galvanising: electrolytic deposition) → post-processing (passivation to prevent white rust, oiling, fingerprint-resistant coatings) → coiling and shaping (controlling tension to prevent deformation).

6. Applicable industries: home appliances (air-conditioner shells, washing machine drums), construction (colour steel tile substrate, light steel keel), automotive (body parts, chassis guards), furniture (wardrobe panels, shelves), municipal (traffic guardrail, billboard substrate).
